    Furniture maintenance tips

Every time I see those unsightly scorch marks on my dining table and countertops, my heart sinks. If only I had been a bit more careful and put a protective pad under my cup, my beloved furniture wouldn't be marred by these eye-catching burn marks. Seeing them sometimes ruins my mood for the whole day. Gradually, I am faced with a dilemma: should I replace my furniture or not? If I don't, I feel uncomfortable all day long. If I do, it's difficult to find furniture that matches the same style as my other pieces, not to mention the time and effort it takes to dispose of the old furniture and purchase, transport, and assemble the new pieces. The cost is also significant, ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars, making it a tough decision to make. No matter how I calculate it, the emotional and financial loss is inevitable.

    Consider replacing the furniture?

    If not, it could potentially ruin the entire lease agreement;
If so, it can be challenging to find furniture that matches the same style as the rest of the decor.
Moreover, the time spent purchasing, processing old furniture, moving and assembling new furniture is enough to give anyone a headache.
Not to mention the costs involved, which could range from a few thousand to tens of thousands. It's a difficult decision to make, and no matter how you calculate it, it seems like loss is unavoidable...

Don't worry! Beddinginn has some tips to help you.

By taking preventative measures and making some preparations, we can avoid these problems.
Here are a few small tricks that can help extend the life of your furniture and keep it looking new for years to come!
Wooden tables are prone to burns and scratches, while marble tables can show noticeable stains from juice spills...
To prevent scratches, dents, spills, high temperatures, and chemical damage, consider applying a protective film to the surface of your furniture. This will give landlords peace of mind.
Furthermore, the protective film's unique characteristics can enhance the shine of the furniture's painted surfaces, improving its overall appearance and impressing tenants.

    How to apply maintenance film?

    1.Clean furniture surfaces:
Firstly, clean the surface of the furniture with detergent and water several times. Remember to wipe it clean before spraying water.

2.Choose the appropriate protective film material:
The film thickness should be around 1.5mm and able to withstand temperatures of up to 176°F/80°C. The material should be able to protect the glass surface, and be translucent and easy to cut.

    3.Fix the protective film:
First, spray water on the surface of the furniture to lubricate it, and then gently attach the film to the surface using a scraper. Position the film in the center and then slowly move outward from the center.

    4.Edge repair:
After fixing the protective film, you need to trim the edges according to the details of the furniture (the film edge should be about 5 mm shorter than the edge of the furniture). Finally, use a dry cloth to absorb any remaining water and clean the surface of the protective film.

    Budget preparation

When it comes to cost, for a 4-bedroom house of about 3,000 square feet, the cost of furniture protection materials is approximately $1,000. This investment can significantly extend the lifespan of your furniture and save a lot of expenses for the homeowner.

Although furniture protection may seem like a small matter, it can prevent many unnecessary troubles in the long run, keeping your home looking fresh and new.
