Are you really doing the right thing when it comes to caring for your bedding?

Are you really doing the right thing when it comes to caring for your bedding?

Proper care and maintenance can keep your premium bedding purchase in like-new condition for consistent personal enjoyment.

Follow the classic French habit to ensure high-quality bedding is always new: rotate your bedding, keep one set in the closet, another set on the bed, and another set in the wash. This ensures that no one set of bedding wears out more than the others.

Note: Some skin and hair care products contain hydroxide ingredients (such as acne skin care products), which can discolor bedding. If you are using these types of personal care products, it is recommended to put a white washcloth on top of the pillowcase.

How to wash: Light and dark colors are washed separately. Do not overfill the washing machine to avoid damage to the delicate long-staple cotton fibers.
Cotton, linen, or linen-blend linens should be washed in warm water with a mild detergent and rinsed in cold water at the end. If pre-soaking is required, soak in cold water.

Do not add detergent until the washer is full of water and started to agitate. It is recommended to use only half of the official recommended amount of detergent to reduce the damage of detergent to the fabric.

Remove from washing machine immediately after washing to prevent wrinkling. Shaking the linen before drying (either air drying or tumble drying) will help reduce wrinkling and shorten drying time. Any printing and dyeing products have slight floating color, and the high-quality bedding will lose color in the first 2 to 3 washing processes, which is a normal floating color phenomenon.

How to dry: Hanging to dry is the ideal drying method. Appropriate use of the dryer can also achieve a basically satisfactory drying effect. Choose low-temperature drying when drying, and the temperature should not exceed 35°C to avoid excessive shrinkage. If it is dried in the sun, it should be cooled in an outdoor ventilated place in time to avoid exposure to the sun. When drying, the printed side should face inward.

How to iron: For ironing bedding, it is recommended to use a good steam iron and iron on the back. Set the proper temperature according to the marking requirements sewn into the product.

How to store: If stored for a long time, it should be ironed before storage. Fold it in half and lay it flat, put an appropriate amount of camphor balls (do not directly contact with this product), and store in a cool and dry place. If it is a wooden cabinet, a thin paper should be placed underneath. Be especially careful not to put it in a spruce or fir cabinet, because it contains oil, which can easily damage the bedding.
